As we approach the holiday season, we reflect and give thanks to all who have helped to provide hope to our families. Hope of an affordable home. Hope of a safe and decent place to live. Hope of homeownership. Hope of a better life for themselves and their children.

From now until the end of the year, we invite you to join us in making a difference in your local community. Since 1990, Habitat for Humanity of Berkeley County has empowered 42 families to build a better life and a stronger future for themselves. Decent, affordable shelter provides a foundation for families to grow and transform their lives.

Habitat for Humanity of Berkeley County is currently building our 43rd home in Hanahan and our 44th home in Moncks Corner. Your donation will help bring hope to families like Tia and her two children. Tia is diagnosed with Sickle Cell Disease which dominated her life until 2018 when a new procedure was started. After Tia's divorce, she made it her mission to give her children the best life possible, and providing them with a home was on the top of the list. Tia and her children currently live with Tia's mother and grandmother in the neighborhood her Habitat home is being built. She is excited to be close to her family and the Community's Hope Impact Center. Tia is most excited about all of them having their own personal space and her children being able to have friends over.

Your generosity will help bring hope to Tia and help make a difference in the lives of local families and our communities. Together, we can give the gift of hope this holiday season.
