Build a Playhouse with us!

On Saturday, December 4th, Habitat for Humanity Affiliates from around the Lowcountry are hosting the Playhouse Project event at the Lowes Warehouse on Daniel Island. We are asking for volunteers to rally up to 12 of their friends, family, and co-workers to build a team to support the Playhouse Project and Habitat for Humanity of Berkeley County. Each team is asked to raise $3000 to sponsor their playhouse. Money raised will not only provide a child in Berkeley County with a playhouse for Christmas, but will also help provide safe, decent, affordable housing for local deserving families in our community.

Thanks to our partnership with Lowes Home Improvement, all materials and tools will be provided for your team. Prior to the event, your team will receive information for the child you are building the playhouse for. We ask you bring your creativity to decorate your playhouse to personalize it for your child. We will have the playhouses delivered to the children in time for the Christmas season.

Starting your team’s fundraiser is easy to do. To set up your team’s personalized fundraiser page, just click on the Start Fundraising button. Your personalized page can then be shared by your team members to start raising funds. All it will take to reach your $3000 team goal is for each of your 12 team members to ask 10 friends and family to donate $25!

With your support, you will help bring strength, stability and independence to families in need of a safe, secure, and decent place to live. All funds raised support Habitat for Humanity’s mission of building homes, communities, and hope.
